Reflection

The "extraordinary capacities of the mind" are fascinating.  As educators, we have the honor
to lead, coax, or prod our students into new territories of experience.  We can introduce new skills  or work with  them on technology.  We can encourage a positive work ethic and try to increase their inquiry skills. 
All of our students must be nurtured to find their potential.  Our book states the case that balance  is needed in education- a balance of knowledge and skills plus opportunities to speculate and experiment.
We teachers need to facilitate this process.  This is an exciting and challenging commitment that we must take seriously.
